Better Late Than Never!

Back at Thanksgiving Shane's Pa got a bulldozer and went to work on our house pad :) These are just some pics of all the dirt it's hard to tell what it's really going to look like but wanted to document it :)

Christmas festivies

Well the first of ours starts Saturday... I can not believe this year is already gone! We are headed to Woodward to open gifts with the Allens! I'm ready to get away for a couple of days and just hang out with the family. I'm excited to see Bree and Jarrett open their gifts. There's nothing like watching Christmas through children's eyes. They are the youngest ones around this year. My other nephews and niece are all almost teenagers which I can't believe either. All a constant reminder that I'm getting older ha! Thought I would leave you with a Christmas song that I know has been around a long time but for some reason this year I decided I really liked the lyrics:) I will post pics of the first round and next week is way crazy!

Just us being us!

trying to get in the spirit of Christmas...

I usually want to get all the decorations out as soon as Thanksgiving is over. I have told Shane many of times lets go get our Christmas stuff out of storage. It still hasn't happened and honestly I just don't want to. I know the ornament we bought last year that says expectant parents in 2009 will find me. That we will have another year with only two stockings to hang. That I have empty arms while watching Shane set up the tree. It's just not happening for me this year. I have tried to get in the spirit, we are going to look at Christmas lights in Tulsa on Friday and then the Christmas train on Sunday. So maybe that will help. This whole season is so geared towards children and families that it's just hard to be a spectator and not participating. Maybe Christmas 2010 we will have our miracle baby. Sorry the last two post have kinda been downers but stuff. This blog is from my heart and that's what it's like to lose a baby. It's one up and down after the other. I'm looking forward to the New Year and new hope.

On a side note I know that Christmas is not all about presents and the hub bub. I'm thankful for my savior and want to celebrate his birth. Thank you God for letting your son be born and to die on a cross for all of our sins.

Hard Questions

I came across a blog where she was asking hard questions that would probably never be answered. I too have hard questions that I will most likely not be answered in this life time but decided to ask them anyway :)

1. Why can we not have a baby? Is God punishing us? What are we not learning that we should be?

2. Why would God let women get pregnant when their baby is going to end up dying before they get to live?

3. Why can people who are going to abuse or mistreat children keeping having one baby after the other, yet people who want to take care of baby can not?

4. Why does it seem like some people never have any real struggle with life? They get everything they want and barely have to work for it?

5. Why is that we only hear about God through main stream media if it's to say something bad about Christianity?

These are just a few of my questions. I sure I have more but this is enough for now! Maybe one day God will reveal a few of these for me.

yes I'm going to write a post about a fictional love triangle that I get so worked up over. Ha!



So last night Mom, Melissa, Reyann, Heather and myself all went to watched New Moon. For all you people who know nothing about the twilight saga (I kind of feel for ya since your missing out!) It's not a real Moon it's the title of the second book in the series. I read all the books in about a two week time period and have since then read twilight twice. So it had been a while since I had been trapped in the fantasy world of Forks, Washington. Edward the vampire and Bella's love interest leaves town for her "best interest" and her best friend Jacob who is a werewolf steps in and kind of takes his place temporarily. While I was reading I just kept hoping for Edward to come back and didn't really feel the connection between her and Jacob. Last night watching the movie I felt she had more chemistry with Jacob and I liked the Bella she was with Jacob better then Bella she was with Edward. So I'm torn between who I think she should be with. What do you guys think? (even if you don't "think" about if you read the books who do you like her with better :))



Yes me a 25 year old is actually thinking about this! Hey for two hours last night I thought of nothing else then what I was watching and lately that's an accomplishment :) It's normally will we ever get pregnant if we ever get pregnant again will I ever have an baby that gets to live with us... So I was very grateful for the distraction.

Weekend in Woodward

We went to Woodward this past weekend we had a great time. We mostly just hung out and ate big surprise ;) Me and Shane did take pictures with Sarah Castor her website is www.Saephotography.net you should check her out! We have seen the pics unedited and they are great it's going to be so hard to choose which ones we want!

Bree was stuck to us like glue... we loved every minute of it! She made me take a bath and wash all of her barbie dolls heads and then she washed mine three times with each kind of shampoo that was in the bathroom :)

We took Huck of course and he had a blast playing with Boomer I should have taken pics I just always forget.

Brother Bear would at least come to me. Last week they came to Paden and he acted like he didn't know me. I was really sad... He redeemed him self this weekend :) he was yelling for Nane a lot they had fun playing together.

On the way home Huck slept the entire time he hasn't played that hard in his life! all 14 weeks of it ;)
