We went to Branson last week for a family vacation with Shanes parents and my sis and bro in-law and their kiddos. We left our two with my parents b/c they are both to little for silver dollar city which was the main reason we were going. Anyway Shane has been wanting to get Jaxxi's name tattooed on him ever since she was adopted so what better time than vacation. :)

It turned out really good!

Well ever since we lost Jaxxon, we had talked about getting a tattoo to remember him by. Shane got his in December 2009 and well I have just been a chicken about it. And I had to work through if I felt like I wanted something on me FOREVER! Well I finally just bit the bullet. It turned out really good and I think I'm glad I did it. :) He was never far from my mind, but know I can be reminded of what all I've been through and how blessed my life is now.

I got it on my wrist and asked for them to do it as small as they could:)

Me and Tish have been saying we are going to go together and get a tattoo! Well we finally got our chance :) We all went out to eat before we took the plunge. Honestly I can't believe I didn't chicken out!

She got 26.2 for marathon's she has ran and the two hearts are for each one she has ran. as she runs more she can add hearts to it.

I'm pretty certain that this was my first and last tattoo experience :)

Weekend!

This spring the weather has been so bizarre but I'm still glad it's spring time! That means we start back up with Play days! Jaxxi was so excited to get back in the arena!

It was so cold we mostly just set out in the truck, but it was still fun to resume are Friday night activity.

On Saturday some of my family decided to help out a cause for foster care with a mile walk called "Walk a Mile in my shoes" I think I cried most of the morning to see my family not only support me and Shane in our journey to fostering and adopting, but also see them help kids out in a way that they can! I encourage you if you can't do anything Prayer is so needed in each of these children's lives!

Cayson 3 Months

Casyon your a sweet 3 month old baby boy! You are usually all smiles in the morning and get pretty fussy before bedtime. We just snuggle a little longer! We love you so much and don't remember life without you.

• Had your first ear infection :(
• Super smiley
• drink 7 oz.
• Weigh 12 lbs 13 oz and 23 inches long 15 head your at the lower end of the percentage scale but that's ok I have a feeling you will catch up!
• still in 0-3 but starting to out grow some of them.
• on soy formula even though not sure it's helping
• Sleeping through the night!!
• can hold head up great!
• started playing with the toys on your bouncy seat.
• loves to be snuggled up close.
• still not sure about bink.

Cayson one month

Cayson you are one month old. this month has flown by and you are still so tiny but it has also felt like we have known you a lot longer! You have been the easiest baby. I think God knew with a sister like Jaxxi mommy needed easy ;)

• You eat 4 oz. every 4 hours and mostly just sleep in between.
• You are starting to concentrate on mommy face during bottles
• you can hold your head up pretty good.
• wearing newborn clothes and shoes

Easter 2013

Shane had to work Easter weekend and we missed daddy so much! I was off Good Friday so we headed up to Tulsa to eat lunch with my sister and watch the movie The Croods. (side note: The Croods was pretty dumb) I wish I could post pics of how cute baby brother looked on Easter! We had family lunch on Sunday and it was a great day!
