Bree's funnies

On Sunday night we were listing to the baby aka baby cousin to Bree and we thought just for fun we would see if we could find Tish's baby's heart beat. We were pretty sure we wouldnt be able to and we weren't, but while Shane was trying to find it bree asked her mom if she was having a baby cousin too! It was so cute. Bree is still doesn't know she getting a new member of her family so we just kinda ignored the comment all together.

some lovin...

Sunday night Tish and Scott and the kids came over for dinner and I just thought I would post a few pics of them playing and lovin on their uncle nane.

Jarrett playing in the blocks!

Bree and Shane playing with his phone.

They love each other so much. It's so cute to watch them.

This is my 17w2d pic. I haven't been really showing that much and last night I came in and Shane was like wow your stomach is sticking out. so this is my first pregnancy pic.

God's still working on me...

to teach me what i ought to be... enough of the children's musical. I have been reading some blogs of women who have had babies with health problems and women who are hoping and praying for the day that will get a positive pregnancy test, and that's when God slapped me on the face in my recliner that I have to soon forgotten what a true miracle he has given me. I'm so humbled and blessed that he choose me with all my weaknesses and weird hang ups to bring up a child of his. I was basically crying hysterically and just praising God for all the wonderful blessing in my life. I'm only seventeen weeks pregnant and have already forgotten what it was like to agonize every month when the test was negative. I'm praying right now for every woman who is still trying and praying for their miracle or maybe God answered your prayer but your baby is in trouble I'm praying for you to. I hope that everyone who has been blessed with a child will get on their knees and pray for women who are still desperately wanting a baby of their own.

God I pray right now for every couple who is struggling to keep their hopes up that in your perfect timing and way that you will bless them exceedingly above their expectations, That your perfect will be brought to all of their lives no matter what the solution maybe. I pray peace and understanding that they will have the faith to live through the next day. I'm praying in advance for all the wonderful miracles you already know about that their Mother's aren't even aware of the fact that their babies are in their womb. I know that your a big God and can do all things. amen

Heartbeats and Cribs!

I was at a Tupperware party and some of the mom's were talking about how they rented a Doppler to listen to the babies heartbeat at home. So of course being a first timer I had to rent one for myself. So I received it on Tuesday night and me and Shane got to hear our precious little miracles heart beating away. It was 148 this time. It was moving around a lot so we had to keep following it in my stomach it was so cool. I can't wait to I can feel it moving in there. Yesterday they crib I wanted was on sale with free shipping so I called up good ole dad, and he ordered it for me. I should get it when they come for my ultra sound on Feb. 2ND I'm so excited each new thing keeps making this experience more real.

This is the crib but not the bedding. I have this weird thing about if it has the bars all around that the poor kid looks like their in jail weird I know! plus when it turns into a full size bed it will have a solid head board.

First Purchase

I know many of you have already hit this milestone in your marriage but Shane and I just bought our very first piece of funiture! I'm so excited that we got to go to the store sit on like a thousand couch's and pick our very first one. You are probably think I'm a dork but if you seen my couch before you would know why I was excited. It only took me six months to convince Shane we needed a new one. I think I only got it b/c he picked it out. It makes our living room look so much better. One more step for getting ready for baby Allen.

Few from dinning room.

Few from front door :)

straight on. So this is my exciting new news and I'm so excited to get to sit on it. :)
**UPDATE** we have our ultra sound in two weeks to find out what we're having yay!

A lot of work!

On Saturday Brenda came over to help me get started on getting things organized for the baby. I knew this would be a long tedious process b/c I tend to be a bit of a hoarder. So we start in the garage slash garage that was converted into a room. Which is where we had our computer desk, and various other nonsense. that took o about two hours. then it was the two spare rooms and closets and that took another chunk of the day. I only left my house to run to wal-mart for totes. We started about one o'clock and didn't finish til seven or seven thirty that evening. Brenda is lean mean organizing machine and I'm so happy she helped me. I have orders this week to go through a few more things and put what i want to keep in totes and figure out where to put the totes. So it's still not over. one truck load to OARC and one truck load to the dump later and my house is almost ready for our little bundle of joy!
