Well the first of ours starts Saturday... I can not believe this year is already gone! We are headed to Woodward to open gifts with the Allens! I'm ready to get away for a couple of days and just hang out with the family. I'm excited to see Bree and Jarrett open their gifts. There's nothing like watching Christmas through children's eyes. They are the youngest ones around this year. My other nephews and niece are all almost teenagers which I can't believe either. All a constant reminder that I'm getting older ha! Thought I would leave you with a Christmas song that I know has been around a long time but for some reason this year I decided I really liked the lyrics:) I will post pics of the first round and next week is way crazy!
Here are a few of the family pictures that we took back in the begining of November I'm so excited to see them edited and they turned out great!!!!! you can go to www.saephotography.net/allenfamily to see the rest of them edited but these are the ones that I can share hope you enjoy I know I did :)

This is way up on the top of my list!
This is my Honey! He's pretty cute!
another one of my husband! I think he's pretty hott!
I usually want to get all the decorations out as soon as Thanksgiving is over. I have told Shane many of times lets go get our Christmas stuff out of storage. It still hasn't happened and honestly I just don't want to. I know the ornament we bought last year that says expectant parents in 2009 will find me. That we will have another year with only two stockings to hang. That I have empty arms while watching Shane set up the tree. It's just not happening for me this year. I have tried to get in the spirit, we are going to look at Christmas lights in Tulsa on Friday and then the Christmas train on Sunday. So maybe that will help. This whole season is so geared towards children and families that it's just hard to be a spectator and not participating. Maybe Christmas 2010 we will have our miracle baby. Sorry the last two post have kinda been downers but stuff. This blog is from my heart and that's what it's like to lose a baby. It's one up and down after the other. I'm looking forward to the New Year and new hope.
On a side note I know that Christmas is not all about presents and the hub bub. I'm thankful for my savior and want to celebrate his birth. Thank you God for letting your son be born and to die on a cross for all of our sins.
I came across a blog where she was asking hard questions that would probably never be answered. I too have hard questions that I will most likely not be answered in this life time but decided to ask them anyway :)
1. Why can we not have a baby? Is God punishing us? What are we not learning that we should be?
2. Why would God let women get pregnant when their baby is going to end up dying before they get to live?
3. Why can people who are going to abuse or mistreat children keeping having one baby after the other, yet people who want to take care of baby can not?
4. Why does it seem like some people never have any real struggle with life? They get everything they want and barely have to work for it?
5. Why is that we only hear about God through main stream media if it's to say something bad about Christianity?
These are just a few of my questions. I sure I have more but this is enough for now! Maybe one day God will reveal a few of these for me.
yes I'm going to write a post about a fictional love triangle that I get so worked up over. Ha!
So last night Mom, Melissa, Reyann, Heather and myself all went to watched New Moon. For all you people who know nothing about the twilight saga (I kind of feel for ya since your missing out!) It's not a real Moon it's the title of the second book in the series. I read all the books in about a two week time period and have since then read twilight twice. So it had been a while since I had been trapped in the fantasy world of Forks, Washington. Edward the vampire and Bella's love interest leaves town for her "best interest" and her best friend Jacob who is a werewolf steps in and kind of takes his place temporarily. While I was reading I just kept hoping for Edward to come back and didn't really feel the connection between her and Jacob. Last night watching the movie I felt she had more chemistry with Jacob and I liked the Bella she was with Jacob better then Bella she was with Edward. So I'm torn between who I think she should be with. What do you guys think? (even if you don't "think" about if you read the books who do you like her with better :))
Yes me a 25 year old is actually thinking about this! Hey for two hours last night I thought of nothing else then what I was watching and lately that's an accomplishment :) It's normally will we ever get pregnant if we ever get pregnant again will I ever have an baby that gets to live with us... So I was very grateful for the distraction.
I snapped this pic while it was still on the scream everyone was yelling b/c they were so excited!
We went to Woodward this past weekend we had a great time. We mostly just hung out and ate big surprise ;) Me and Shane did take pictures with Sarah Castor her website is www.Saephotography.net you should check her out! We have seen the pics unedited and they are great it's going to be so hard to choose which ones we want!
Bree was stuck to us like glue... we loved every minute of it! She made me take a bath and wash all of her barbie dolls heads and then she washed mine three times with each kind of shampoo that was in the bathroom :)
We took Huck of course and he had a blast playing with Boomer I should have taken pics I just always forget.
Brother Bear would at least come to me. Last week they came to Paden and he acted like he didn't know me. I was really sad... He redeemed him self this weekend :) he was yelling for Nane a lot they had fun playing together.
On the way home Huck slept the entire time he hasn't played that hard in his life! all 14 weeks of it ;)
The time change makes the days feel like they drag on for ever! This week feels like it's been a month long and we're only half way through it!
Halloween came and went for another year. I can't say I'm sad about it. Don't get me wrong it's still one of my favorite times of year. It's just that all the little Halloween onzies and cute pj's were the first things we bought for our baby we didn't know at the time would be Jaxxon. I can't believe it's been a year already that my life was turned upside down, first in the best way possible then turned upside down b/c of the worst thing possible... I imagine this whole season will be hard to get through b/c the holidays coming up are suppose to be about family and a huge part of mine is missing. I remember thinking I will never have to be sad about not having my own child trick or treating but God had other plans. I will have to muddle through Thanksgiving and Christmas the same way but I have already been praying that God would give me extra strength :)
On Monday I took Huck to get his rabies shots and am pleased to say that he did really well didn't even effect him. We have the bad shots again a week from Monday so I'm sure he'll be sick again. Tuesday we went to our first basketball game in Paden. Boys and Girls both won! Today I took Huck to get his first hair cut and well lets just say they did not do the best job! I cried when I got to my car b/c they cut off all his puppy hair!
This weekend we will head to Woodward to take Pics with Sarah from www.saephotography.net! I'm so excited we haven't taken pics like this since our engagement pics 4 years ago so I say it's time. we kept putting it off in hopes that we would have a little one to put with the two of us, but in reality that may never happen so I just decided it was something I wanted to do! So of course I'll show them to yall as soon as I get them.
Told you a bunch of randomness but I wanted to start keeping up with this better :)
Last night was so fun! I enjoyed watching all the dances live better then on t.v.! If you thought any of it was fake I can tell you it's not these are incredible dancers...
Me and Tish waiting for the show to begin!
This was the welcome that's Brandon out front. It really showcased there dancing and personality's!
The heart dance!
If you watched the season you had to remember the Russian Folk dance well it kinda become comedic relief through the whole show here they are disguised as doctors who moved the props!
Brandon and Jeanette's spy dance my favorite I waited for all night and wasn't disappointed :)
Jeannette and Ade doing the hip hop routine all about a pic :)
Since it was Halloween they all came out one time or another with goofy costumes on it was hilarious they couldn't even keep a straight face.
Russian Folk dancers again :)
It was alot of fun took tons more pics but since I had 5 post today I'm tired of posting pictures :) hope you enjoy my long update I'll try and stay on top of it better through November no promises though I'm pretty sure every weekend is taken up already. Would rather be busy then board though :) Hope you all have a happy and safe Halloween!
Shane hard at work He carved all of them but Bree's little one in the picture below I helped her carve hers. Didn't think we were going to get to carve them with her this year but it worked out were we got to and I'm so glad we did! I didn't get any pics of her b/c the toot had no clothes on!
I was sitting in the house one night last week and I hear this crash outside I knew it was Shane b/c of how loud his truck is... I was just hoping it wasn't anything of his Pa's b/c we would never ever ever hear the end of it! I was thinking surely I was dreaming I heard him hit something. He comes in and slams the door and says I just hit your car. I could see he was upset so I didn't harass him... to much Ha! I was sick to my stomach b/c we had the rinky peon for so long and nothing happened to it. Of course my new car I have had not even six months I don't think gets ran into by one of my own. :) The damage is not that bad but still I was sick.
Shane decided he could find me a bumper on eBay that we just had to paint. To our shock and amazement he found one for .01 then after we paid our penny plus $69.00 shipping we discovered how great our deal was it had a dent in it on the exact same spot lol! Only Shane is talented enough to do that :)
