Don't miss out now!

I was listing to the radio the other day. I heard this song and it just struck a cord in me. I was thinking about when I was a teenager and even a child I wanted to grow up to be independent. I just don't think I stopped and took enough time to appreciate what I was living in at the time. I know it's hard and stressful at times but that is just life at every stage. We think things like if we can just start a family then we can enjoy that. Once we have a family it's like if I can just get them out of diapers, then it's if we can just get them out of high school. We are always looking for the next step to change things or make it better. There are times the next step probably does make life easier. I just challenge you not to miss out on the here now. So that we won't have to miss as much ten or twenty years down the road. I hope all of you get to enjoy the things we are gonna miss later :)

Like this cute little girl who is already two!!

Your Gonna Miss This by Trace Adkins

She was starin out the window of their SUV, Complainin saying I Can’t Wait to turn 18, She said I’ll make my own money, and I’ll make my own rules, Momma put the car in park out there in front of the school, And she kissed her head, and said ‘I was just like you’

Your gonna miss this your gonna want this back, Your gonna wish these days hadn’t gone by so fast, these are some good times so take good look around, you may not know it now but you’re gonna miss this.

Before she knows it she’s a brand new bride, in her one bedroom apartment and her daddy stops by, he tells her it’s a nice place, she says ‘it will do for now’ she starts talking about babies, and buyin a house, Daddy shakes his head and says baby just slow down

Cuz your gonna miss this your gonna want this back, Your gonna wish these days hadn’t gone by so fast, these are some good times, so take a good look around you may not know it now but your gonna miss this

Five years later there’s a plumber workin on the water heater, Dog’s Barkin, phones ringing ones kids crying one kids screamin, She keeps apologizin, But he says they don’t bother me, I’ve got two babies of my own ones thirty-six, ones twenty-three, huh it’s hard to believe

But your gonna miss this your gonna want this back, Your gonna wish these days hadn’t gone by so fast, these are some good times so take good look around, you may not know it now but you’re gonna miss this.
