Cayson 4 months
I didn't get his 4 month pictures done until 2 weeks before he turned 5 months but better late than never! ;)

You are so happy all the time! Since we got your formula all straightened out you only fuss when it's time to eat!
We did try some rice cereal out of a spoon. you did pretty well. I'm not going to get real serious until you are six months old.

You are bringing your hands to your mouth constantly! You can take your bink out and put it back in.
You like to snuggle on the dog to the right of the above picture.
You sleep from about 8:30 p.m. to 5:30-6:30 just long enough to drink a bottle then you fall right back asleep till about 8:30.

this picture cracks me up! you are doing your new squeak thing! you love to squeak and yell. It's so funny! You are most talkative in the mornings.
You have lost a lot of hair! And we have an old man hair style situation happening :)
You love your sister and she loves you! She tries to help momma take care of you. She tells me when your crying and tries to help feed you.

This picture pretty much sums you up baby boy. You have the best smile that lights up your whole face. We love you sooo much!!
At your 4 month well baby you were
14 lbs
23 1/2 inches
head 16 1/4

Happy 2 years baby girl!!
Mommy can't believe that you are an ornery, busy, sweet and oh so cute 2 year old already!! We are so glad we get to be your Mommy and Mama (you call daddy mama right now lol!) You for sure keep us busy and test our patience everyday. Little secret your Mommy is kinda of spit fire too, so you had no hope. :) The last two years have been the best of my life and can't wait to continue to watch you grow into the person you will become. Mommy and Daddy love you so much baby girl!

Jaxxi update
I haven't updated about Jaxxi for a while and since this is where I keep all this stuff I wanted to make sure I get all of this down. Jaxxi started walking at just over 16 months old. We went to OU for orthopedics and she was completely fine for now, we go back in 7 months for more monitoring. she has said two real words, Horsey, and Huckie. She still won't say Mommy and Daddy to either of us, so we know where we rank! ha! She has all of her top teeth I think and now she's working on the bottom ones. I haven't slept much in over a month. Oh well it's worth it, just wished she would start feeling better.
The biggest and best update is that on June 25th exactly 11 months from when she was placed in our home, the birth parents relinquished rights! I was in tears when they told us they wanted us to adopt her and take care of her. I can't explain what a relief it was when that was finally over with! Now we have to wait for a hearing to move her case from the foster care side to the adoption side, and have to make sure the tribe that Jaxxi was born into will let a member from another tribe adopt her. Our worker doesn't think there will be an issue with that, but it is another hurdler on this road. So Hopefully by 2013 she will officially be ours forever and ever!

14 months post 10 days late:)
14 months has brought on so much fun, new things, and stubbornness! :)
We had court yesterday and man is it stressful, we are nearing the end of all this hopefully for real this time I thought I was almost there two other times. We have a jury trial coming up so I don't think there's much after that. There some things I'm slightly concerned about so if you can remember us in prayer I would appreciate it!
- You had surgery last week and you still weighed 19 lbs.
- you are wearing mostly 12 months a few 18 month shirts
- you are barely in a size 3 shoe...Tiny feet!
- you eat more than your weight in food everyday! you aren't very picky yet but you still aren't crazy about sweets.
- You are completely off the bottle have been since 13 months.
- you drink you sippy cup upside down :)
- you like juice way better than milk.
- You still take 2 naps most days, sleep mostly threw the night
- you almost refused to be fed, You want to do it all by yourself!
- You are into everything, we do not stop till bedtime. You can climb on the tables and think you are so funny!
- you have learned how to get off of the furniture.
- New words you say (one, bye-bye, no, hello, night night, yay)
- You shake your head no
- You still aren't walking, but taken a few steps, stood up from the ground unassisted, and our letting go of the table for longer periods of time.
- You need hair to go to sleep, or when your scared. I find that hair is an odd comfort thing but it's what you like so we go with it. :)
- You have had tubes, and your lazy eyes corrected. You did great for both surgeries!

9 Months
I can not believe she is already 9 months old! we had a big month of milestones!
This month we had a few concerns about where Jaxxi is on a few developmental things. So we set up a meeting with s.o.oner st.a.rt. They are organization that will help kids if they are behind in any area the first three years of life. Well we had our evaluation and Jaxxi qualified. Half Birthday!
Jaxxi is six months old! She's been "ours" for almost three weeks and it's hard to remember life with out her! I was pretty nervous I wouldn't be able to wake up early every morning or know what to do with her all day, but I must say we are doing just fine and falling more in love every day! I will know her stats when we go to the doctor on the 22nd.
We made it our first 7 days pretty much on our own. We miss daddy like crazy though, it makes me sad every new thing she does he doesn't get to see it first hand. I'm so thankful for the work he is doing to support our family! I go back to work on Tuesday. I'm sick over it. Hoping I can stick it out at least till we get insurance through Shanes job, but I'm not sure I can!!
